Congratulations!
To all councillors of 3E1 (and other classes), congratulations on the job well done yesterday! Indeed, we did have a celebration and it was made possible by your dedication and zeal in putting up a great show. As form teachers, Ms Yue and myself were extremely pleased to see many of our class people taking key roles in making the event a memorable one. And for the rest of the e1sters, we appreciate every kind gestures you showed towards your teachers. Whether the gestures came in big or small ways, I'm sure your teachers were touched by what you did. Keep it up and stay appreciative of people around you.

Tough Love
From Ms Yue and myself:
I want to reiterate that 3E1 has been and still is an awesome class of fun-loving, sensible and very appreciative people. Sometimes, things have to be said and important messages have to be sent across to everyone at the right time. Through gentle reminders (naggings) and strong admonishments (scoldings), words that were first thought-through, discussed and carefully meditated were transmitted to the class. All were accomplished with the intention for good and the betterment of every individual. No bitter hatre or fiery dislike for anyone is ever involved in all of these.

Jokes (Continued)
A man paid his old friend of 30 years a visit at his house. After being invited in, he observed the way his friend spoke to his wife. He was pleasantly surprised to hear his friend call her by "honey" and "dear" even though they were over 60years old! Later, after they had gone out for a cup of coffee, after the man had shared his surprise with his friend, his friend replied, "No. Actually, I had forgotten her name 3years ago already."
Jokes!
The Nun Decorators
The head nun tells the two new nuns that they have to paint their room
without getting any paint on their clothes.
The one nun says to the other, "Hey, let's take all our clothes off,
fold them up, and lock the door."
So they do this, and begin painting their room.
Soon they hear a knock at the door. They ask, "Who is it?"
"Blind man!"
The nuns look at each other, then one nun says, "He's blind, he can't
see. What could it hurt." They let him in.
The man walks in, does a double take, and says, "Where do you want me to
hang the blinds?"

Ok, shall end with just one joke.

Olympics Opening
Did you fellas see the Olympics Opening last night? Whether the grand event was a spectacular display of creativeness and national pride or a deliberate attempt on the part of China to congratulate herself, I am proud to be a Chinese...an Asian. Last night was, by far, the best show ever put up for the games. Ok, I will learn to use the Chinese language more seriously now. :)
9August2008!
After so much stress due to events in school, everyone deserves a break! :D
Today's National Day, and Singapore is turning 43 :)
To all: A HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!! :D
Let's watch fireworks together, let's watch the parade together; I believe one day we'll be able to do it. 3E1 gogogo!

The entire chapter of Thermal Transfer is now posted online at MOODLE--> Physics --> Independent Learning --> Thermal Transfer. You job is to:
- Download the MS Word student version note
- Download the 3 Powerpoints on Conduction, Convection and Radiation and view them
- Answer the 3 quizzes
I will be collecting the FYS homework on Melting and Boiling this Wednesday/Thursday. In case you have forgotten the question numbers, here it is:

MCA Question 1-4, 7, 10
Section A Question 1
Section B Question 1
There will be no assignment for Heat Capacity/Latent Heat since I have already done them with you.
